BIG 6 LEAGUE BASKETBALL

WHO: Girls and Boys 2nd-4th Grade

WHAT: Big 6 League Basketball is comprised of semi-competitive teams that play in Nashville area recreational programs.

Teams - The actual size and number of league teams Big 6 supports depends on the number and skill level of interested boys or girls at each grade level (2nd, 3rd and 4th).

REGISTRATION: Registration and payment is available online only. Registration usually start around mid October. Participants must be registered prior to tryouts, no exceptions.

TRYOUTS: League tryouts are held in November. Boys & Girls tryout separately, per age group. Each day’s tryout is approximately 1 hour long. Contact us for League Try-Out specifics (dates, times, and locations).

All league team placement decisions are final. Depending on tryout numbers, not everyone will make a league team. Players who do not make a league team have the option to participate in our ongoing skill building programs. Please let us know if your player will not participate in the skill building program. 

PRACTICES: Practices begin in late November and are held at designated Big 6 locations. Depending on gym time, expect a minimum of 1 (60-90 Minute) practice per week.

GAMES: The season is 6-8 games beginning in January and ending with the playoffs in late February or early March  Games are often Fridays through Sundays and held at various sites throughout the Nashville area.

HOW MUCH: League Basketball Registration fees vary from $75 - $175 depending on the location. 

Uniform Fee - A $50 uniform fee check must be submitted to Big 6 Sports prior to the first game for player eligibility. If the players uniform is returned upon the end of season in good condition, the uniform fee is returned.
